The "District" refers to the umbrella organization for the three bargaining units of OSSTF Limestone District 27:
Services and activities of OSSTF Limestone District 27 are run out of the District Office in Kingston.
OSSTF Limestone District 27 is governed by a Constitution and Bylaws which are passed each year at the Annual General Meeting.

There are five standing committees in District 27: District Collective Bargaining, Communication & Political Action, Constitution, Educational Services and Status of Women.
These committees meet monthly and report to our District Executive.

The Communications and Political Action Committee (CPAC) meets monthly and assists the Executive in keeping the membership informed on political issues, concerns relevant to their role and all matters affecting the welfare of the District.
The Educational Services Committee meets monthly and deals with upcoming education policy and professional development opportunities.
The Status of Women Committee meets monthly and provides a forum for discussing issues relevant to the professional careers of the women members of Limestone District 27. The Committee may provide sponsorships of programs or speakers that are relevant to the careers of women.
The District CBC is comprised of the Chief Negotiators, and other interested members of each Bargaining Unit. The Committee shares information on collective bargaining.
The Constitution Committee meets monthly to examine the Constitution.
